Born in Cape Town

Brought up in Bloemfontein
Went to Oranje Meisieskool

1969 Moved to Johannesburg and studied Interior Design, life drawing,
Sculpture at Johannesburg Art School. She worked as an Interior Designer in Johannesburg and London on several large projects. She has been painting full time for the past eight years. In 2003 she started studying portrait painting in Florence, returning for the past few years. Painting is her passion, especially portraits painted from life as well as Italian, French and South African landscapes. Her paintings are in Italy, Switzerland, Australia and The United States. The last few paintings are paintings of Lamu an island off the Kenyan coast.

She had her first solo exhibition in December 2003, followed by three solo exhibitions.
